Edye Levinson...

...Began her journey in the
Bronx, New York
May 26, 1936

...Continued her journey beyond
November 2, 2002

No doubt she is playing her
recorder while redecorating Heaven!

This is Edye. She fought to the end. We will sure miss her. Her memory - we will cherish forever. I will remember her strength, love, understanding there for us and the students.

"The World is so empty if one thinks only of mountains,
rivers and cities; but to know someone who thinks and
feels with us, and who, though distant is close to us in spirit, this makes the earth for us an inhabited garden."
Goethe

Betty Totsoni

Edye's eternal youthful spirit was matched
only by her limitless love of life!

Her family found the following words on a handwritten note of Edye's:

The beauty of a woman
is not in the clothes
she wears, the figure
she carries or the way
she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman
must be seen in her
eyes because that is
the doorway to her heart
the place where love resides.
