“Who Lives in Arizona?  Arizona’s Changing Demography”*

National demographic data is used to explore the ways in which Arizona’s population has changed over the decades.  Current immigration, ethnicity, socio-economic disparities, and the age-distribution of Arizona’s population by county, helps develop our understanding of the changing faces in Arizona.

“Understanding Islam”

The presentation provides an overview of the five pillars of Islam and how Muslims integrate the fives pillars into their everyday lives.

“Raising Consciousness through Social Activism”*
Wednesday, March 26 @ 6:30P in Student Union
This presentation brings together a cross-section of social activists working on local and national issues: Human Trafficking, Interfaith Movement, Dream Act, Hispanic Issues in AZ, and School of the Americas.  The panelists will speak about their entry into social activism, current projects and accomplishments, and vision.
