Application Deadline : January 31 by 5:00PM

Description

The Paradise Valley Community College Center for International Studies has designed a Guadalajara Language and Culture Program for 10 MCCD board-approved employees who need to learn Spanish or improve their Spanish. The program dates are late June to early July. The participants will live in a carefully selected homestay and take classes M-F from 9:00AM-1:20PM. On weekends the participants can take cultural excursions and return to their homestays each evening.

Paradise Valley Community College will conduct a pre-departure orientation to all participants prior to departing for Guadalajara.

PVCC will send a bilingual coordinator for the first four days with the participants to ensure that all logistical requirements are met.

Eligibility

The President of each MCCD college will nominate one (or more, space permitting) employee for the program. Funding is available to support 10 MCCD board-approved employees. Each college will be responsible for 50% of their employees' costs.
