| 1. Open Netscape (NOTE: Web Mail will not work in Internet Explorer
on a Mac) You must be on Netscape 7.0 or higher or Internet Explorer
6 or higher) |
| 2. Type http://pvmail.maricopa.edu in the location bar |
| 3. Click on Personal Administration Tool (PAT) |

| 4. Select the Location: Paradise Valley College |
| 5. In the Memo
Address Box: Type in your entire Email address and your Password |
| 6. Click on Login |

| 7. Select My
Profile from the top tab. |
| |
 |
8. Type in a new Password in both password boxes.

| A valid password is at least seven characters in length and consists
of at least one uppercase letter, at least one lowercase letter and
at least one number. |
| 9. NOTE: The “Password Change Applies To” boxes
should be check marked for both the Directory and Email Passwords
|
| 10. Click on
the Submit button (just above the Additional Information section)
your password will be saved. |
| 11. Logout of the PAT system. |

| To verify the password was changed . |
| 1. Type http://pvmail.maricopa.edu in the address Location bar. |
| 2. Click on WebMail Web
E-mail Access |
| 3. Type your user name (firstname.lastname) in front of @pvmail.maricopa.edu |
| 4. Click on Login |
| 6. Remember
to Logout when you are done |

If
you changed your Password, and Can Not send a message, it is
because
the SMTP outgoing mail settings are wrong.
