Computer Installation/Transfer/OS Upgrade

The IRTS department has implementing a new process for Computer Installations, Transfers and Operating System updates. The following form will help us gather the necessary data for the technicians during the transfer process.

All of our campus computers begin with a Base Image. This base image is composed of the common software, which is used throughout our campus (e.g. Microsoft Office, Netscape, Internet Explorer). We realize there may be specialized software programs you and/or your department may use. With over 1500 computers on campus is impossible for us to know which areas use which programs.

To help eliminate errors during the transfer process it is important that you communicate software you use to the technicians. The Computer Transfer Form is designed to help improve the communication from you to the technicians.
