Creating a Signature File for Thunderbird

| 1. Open the Program Note Pad (windows) Text Edit (mac) | |
2. Type the Text the way you would like for it to appear. |

| 3. MAC Only: Under Format Select Make Plain Text |  |
| 3. Select Save from the File Menu | |
| 4. Name your file Sig the computer will add the .txt extension | |
5.
Save your file in the My Documents folder |

| 6. Quit/Exit the Text Edit or Note pad program | |
| 7. Open Thunderbird | |
| 8. In the Tools Menu Select Account Settings | |
| 9. Click the Attach this signature box | |
| 10. Click on the Choose button | |
11. Browse to your sig.txt in your My Documents folder |

| 12. Click on Open | |
13. Click on the OK Button |
