Creating a Signature File for Thunderbird

 
You should have already received a notification that you will need to change your password for Memo. Below are the directions on how to access the PAT tool to change your memo password.
If you need further assistance please contact the helpdesk 77780 and a technician will contact you, to schedule a time to assist you.

1. Open the Program Note Pad (windows) Text Edit (mac)

2. Type the Text the way you would like for it to appear.

3. MAC Only: Under Format Select Make Plain Text sig1
3. Select Save from the File Menu
4. Name your file Sig the computer will add the .txt extension

5. Save your file in the My Documents folder
Mac:Save in your Documents Folder

6. Quit/Exit the Text Edit or Note pad program
 
7. Open Thunderbird
8. In the Tools Menu Select Account Settings
9. Click the Attach this signature box
10. Click on the Choose button

11. Browse to your sig.txt in your My Documents folder

12. Click on Open

13. Click on the OK Button

Send a message to yourself to verify your sig.txt file is working
