The helpdesk is the liaison to technical and functional departments to help students, faculty and staff resolve technical issues.
There are a few items that can be resolved directly by helpdesk personnel via a phone call. Some examples are:
• Application (SIS, HRMS, Blackboard, email) or network login issues
• Create email accounts and distribution lists
• Very simple computer or printer problems that may not require a technician’s visit
• Provide printer toner for black & white units
