iTunes U Formatting Guideline for PVCC

iTunes U Formatting Guideline for PVCC The following guidelines have been setup up by the iTunes U team here on PVCC to follow closely with Apple’s recommendations for content being used on iTunes U. They will allow for maximum versatility with students who use different audio & video devices other than iPod.

For audio podcasts or files:

Use the .mp3 file format with AAC encoding.

For video podcasts:

Use the .mov file format with H.264 encoding. Please constrain the video size to 320x240 unless a special circumstance dictates a large size. This will allow faster download times for the students.
