CQ Researcher
The CQ Researcher is the choice of researchers seeking original, comprehensive reporting and analysis on issues in the news. Published in print and online 44 times a year, the single-themed CQ Researcher report offers in-depth, non-biased coverage of political and social issues, with regular reports on topics in health, international affairs, education, the environment, technology and the U.S. economy. Each 12,000-word CQ Researcher report is a unique work, investigated and written by a seasoned journalist. It can be read in its entirety or by section, which include a background and chronology ; an assessment of the current situation; tables and maps; pro/con statements from representatives of opposing positions; and bibliographies of key sources.

Current Issues: Reference Shelf Plus -
A carefully-selected database of full-text articles from key publications covering a variety of current social, scientific, health, political, and global issues. The topics are chosen to make up a well-rounded overview, and are then organized by subtopic for easy access. The database features current articles with periodic updates, plus the option for users to do further research with predetermined searches within WilsonWeb or on the Internet.

Issues & Controversies - 1995 to present
Is the comprehensive online source and reference database of up-to-date, in-depth and objective information on the most prominent and hotly debated issues of the day which combines authoritative factual analysis, covering clear explanations of opposing points of view and numerous special features, so students and other users can quickly grasp the essentials of even the most complex topics. This database presents and enhances the full backfile of Issues and Controversies On File, which has probed about 600 controversial topics in the news since its debut in September 1995. Chronologies, illustrations, maps, tables, sidebars, bibliographies and contact information augment the balanced, accurate coverage of current and historical events.

Open CRS - CRS Reports for the People - A project of the Center for Democracy & Technology provides citizens access to CRS Reports already in the public domain and encourages Congress to provide public access to all CRS Reports since these reports are not readily available to the public.
