Paul Adenuga began tutoring for the LSC in the Spring of 2007. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry and Math from Southwestern Oklahoma State University . He is expecting to start working towards a PhD or MD in the Fall of 2007. Paul's hobbies include sports and working out.

Sherrie Andersen has tutored for the LSC since 1997. She received her bachelor's degree in Education from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. Sherrie has taught high school math for 15 years and is certified at Level III. She loves to cook and enjoys reading and traveling.

Leslie Argueta-Vogel started tutoring in the LSC in August 2004. She has a B.A. degree in Sociology and extensive writing experience in her professional work. Leslie also has a M.Div. (Master of Divinity) and is an ordained minister. Her favorite pastime is parenting her teenagers and interpreting and translating Spanish to English. She also loves music, singing, and playing the flute.

Kevin Arps has tutored for the LSC for several years. He has been residential faculty at PVCC since 1995. Prior to PVCC he taught at MCC and ASU. Kevin has a bachelor's degee in Psychology and Sociology and a master's degree in Sport Psychology. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in psychology. Interests include hiking, biking, watching sports, and raising kids.

Ed Barnett started volunteering his time as a tutor for the LSC in Fall 2005. He recently retired after 39 years in Defense and Aerospace where he started his career as a software engineer on the Apollo Program and ended it as a manager for U2 Ground Station. Marianne Botos has been tutoring in the LSC since 2000. She currently teaches English and Creative Writing as an adjunct faculty instructor at PVCC.She has a B.A. degree in Journalism/Public Relations and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing/Poetry. Marianne was a professional writer in business prior to teaching and enjoys reading, writing, cooking, playing pool, and gardening.

"key-key-shan") is a mathematics instructor and was born in Bucharest, Romania. She attended Michigan Community Colleges, received her B.S. in biology and mathematics, and her M.S. in mathematics from Western Michigan University. Alice enjoys many interests including classical music, foreign languages, and art.

He has had the privilege of working as a student researcher at an epilepsy lab at the Barrow's Neurological Institute and at a live transplant lab at the U of A in Tucson. Melissa Laliberte has tutored in the LSC since October 2002. Initially she was a Sign Language tutor before helping to revive the Math Lab in 2003. Victor Ochkur tutored in the LSC from 1997-2001. During that time he led tutor training and mentored tutors. In Fall of 2005 he returned as a LSC tutor. He will complete his M.A. degree in Math in December 2005. He has taught at ASU and is currently adjunct faculty at PVCC. Victor's hobbies include camping, 4-wheeling, sports, weight-lifting, and reading.

Vincent Payne is the LSC's Japanese tutor as of February 2005. He has been studying Japanese for four years and is currently working toward his B.A.degree in East Asian Studies. Anime and the Japanese culture are two of his main interests, along with music and writing.

Indira Pillalamarri has been working for the LSC since 1998. She holds a M.Phil (Master of Philosophy) degree in Linguistics and a bachelor's degree in Economics. With 40 years experience in engineering and business, Robert was President and CEO of his own electronics company until it sold in 2000.

Beverly has been associated with PVCC since early 2003. She worked in the Assessment Center for 3 1/2 years before joining the LSC. Beverly was raised in Seattle but has spent the last six years in the Southwest living in Las Vegas and Phoenix. Her interests include spending time with her grandchildren, dogs, horses, dancing and hiking.
 
   

George Rivello began tutoring for the LSC in the Fall of 2006. He has a B.S. in Computer Engineering and is pursuing a degree in Pharmacy. George is a movie aficionado and enjoys reading and playing video games. He also volunteers for the Mayo Clinic.

Ramin Sadeghi tutored in the LSC from 2000-2001 and returned as an LSC tutor in Fall 2005.
