Team Roster
The NJCAA 2011-2012 Soccer Game Roster Form (included) must be certified and signed by the regional director, as part of the entry process for the NJCAA national tournament. The signed roster form must be delivered to the tournament director prior to the coaches meeting. Failure to do so will result in sanctions to be determined by the NJCAA soccer committee.
All NJCAA rules pertaining to rosters are in effect – (NJCAA Handbook Section 5)
Team picture & ROSTER FOR OFFICIAL PROGRAM
A team picture (b/w or color) and an official 2011-2012 NJCAA game roster, with numbers, must be submitted via email to: Christina Hundley, Tournament Manager:christina.hundley@pvmail.maricopa.edu by November 1, 2011.
Please do not wait until your team actually qualifies for the National Tournament.
DISTRICT QUALIFICATION
The eight district winners must be determined by November 6, 2011. District winners please contact Tournament Director Greg Silcox (Office: 602-787-6622 / Cell: 602-628-6555) immediately upon your qualification.
SEEDING
All 8 teams will be seeded, per NJCAA rules, on November 7, 2011. Seeding and pairings will be announced on November 8, 2011.
RULES AND PROCEDURES
All NCAA rules (with noted exceptions) and NJCAA tournament rules are in effect and will be enforced.
Current NCAA soccer rules and procedures with regard to open wounds/bleeding shall be adhered to.
Please note the following NJCAA rules:
The use of all tobacco products by any coach, player, official or other individual involved in the conducting of any NJCAA sanctioned or sponsored regular season or post-season play is prohibited within the confines of the playing area. Any individual not in compliance shall be disqualified from further participation in that contest, and suspended per NJCAA rules.
All coaches, athletes and support personnel are expected to be familiar and follow the NJCAA Code of Conduct. This Code may be found under Article XX of the NJCAA By-Laws.
NJCAA Rules regarding team dress and decorum are in effect at all tournament events and sites.
KICK-OFF BANQUET
A Kick-Off Banquet is scheduled for 6:00pm, Wednesday, November 16th, at the Inn Place Hotel, located at
10220 N Metro Pkwy East, Phoenix, AZ 85051 (map available on tournament web site). All teams are requested to attend, as several awards will be presented. The cost of the banquet is $25 per person. Appropriate attire required.

COACHES MEETING
The Pre-Tournament Coaches meeting is Wednesday, November 16th at 8pm at the InnPlace Hotel (Cactus Wren).
All coaches must provide the NJCAA 2011-2012 Soccer Game Roster Form to the tournament director prior to the coaches meeting. This form must include all card accumulations and suspensions served. The form must be certified and signed by the regional director, as part of the entry process for the NJCAA national tournament. Failure to do so will result in sanctions to be determined by the NJCAA soccer committee. Roster forms for all teams will be reviewed and shared at this meeting.
An official NJCAA 2011-2012 Soccer Game Roster Form is included with the packet.
AIRPORT ~ HOTEL ~ RENTAL VEHICLES
Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport is located in Phoenix, AZ. The Sheraton Crescent Hotel and the InnPlace Hotel are 20 minutes and the Country Inn & Suites is 25 minutes from the airport via interstate highway. The tournament site, the Reach 11 Sports Complex is located 13 miles from the InnPlace & Sheraton Crescent and 8 miles from the Country Inn & Suites.
All major rental vehicle companies offer service at Phoenix Sky Harbor airport.
TEAM HOTEL ASSIGNMENTS
The InnPlace, Sheraton Crescent and Country Inn & Suites have partnered with Paradise Valley Community College to support the 2011 Championship Tournament. Each district has been assigned hotel rooms in accordance with the NJCAA handbook (Section 12). Rooms are $89 plus tax per night at each hotel and include a full hot breakfast.

RESTAURANTS ~ DINING ~ ENTERTAINMENT
Restaurants of all varieties and price ranges are located within minutes of all team hotels. MetroCenter Mall, a major retail center, with restaurants, movie theaters, mini-golf and amusement rides is less than 1 mile from the InnPlace and Sheraton Crescent. Norterra, a major retail center, with restaurants and movie theaters is less than 3 miles from the Country Inn and Suites.
TEAM PRACTICE SCHEDULE
Tournament teams are assigned a 90 minute practice time on Wednesday, November 16th at the Reach 11 Sports Complex. During each designated practice time, each team will be allotted 45 minutes on the championship field.

The team listed first will have the championship field for the first 45 minutes of the designated practice. The team listed second will have the championship field for the second 45 minutes of the designated practice.

The high seed in each bracket wears white/light and has choice of bench.
STARTING TIMES AND WARM UP
All games will start at the scheduled time, when possible. Teams will warm-up on grass fields adjacent to the synthetic turf championship field at the Reach 11 Sports Complex. All championship play will be on the synthetic turf field.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
A certified athletic trainer, will be on duty throughout the tournament. The athletic training tent will be open for use during the tournament. The tournament trainer will coordinate all medical and/or physical therapy assistance as requested. The tournament trainer will be available to meet with all team athletic trainers at the Coaches Meeting on Wednesday night. Teams must provide their own training supplies as necessary for existing injuries as well as preventative taping.
TICKETS AND ADMISSION
Tournament Pass: $30.00 - good for all tournament games.
General Admission: $12.00 per day - good for all games that day.
Students & Seniors: $25 Tournament Pass or $10 per day.
*Players/Coaches/Staff, WHEN NOT IN UNIFORM, must present PARTICIPANT PASSES for tournament admission.

All tournament games will be broadcast live by the NJCAA partner iHigh.

PHOTOGRAPHERS
Each newspaper or college newspaper (college must have a team in the tournament) is entitled to one working photographer pass. Upon presentation of proper identification, a photo pass will be issued at the tournament gate. No one will be allowed to take photographs from the field area without a photographer's pass.
FAMILY & FRIENDS - HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS
The three team hotels; The InnPlace, Sheraton Crescent and Country Inn & Suites have rooms available for family and friends visiting Phoenix for the 2011 Championship Tournament.
Reservations for family and friends are to be made separately from team reservations. Please have family and friends contact the hotels directly. Please identify as being with the NJCAA National Soccer Championships.
