Dietary Managers Association

Dietary Managers Association (DMA) is a national not-for-profit association established in 1960 that today has over 14,000 professionals dedicated to the mission of providing optimum nutritional care through foodservice management.

The Commission on Dietetic Registration

CDR protects the public through credentialing and assessment processes that assure the competence of registered dietitians and dietetic technicians, registered.

School Nutrition Association

Provide information on school meal programs and continuing education opportunities for those interested in school food service.

Food and Agriculture Organization

An agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger. The website provide information on world hunger issues and food safety among other topics.

International Food Information Council

Provides articles on various nutrition topics from food safety to nutrition.

National Food Service Management Institute

Provides online courses for continuing education, information on various feeding programs, and downloadable resources for distribution.

Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutritionists (SCAN)

A dietetic practice group (DPG) of the ADA that focuses on sports nutrition and nutrition for cardiovascular health. This website provides information and articles related to this practice group.

Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine

A DPG of the ADA that focuses on a integrative, functional, and holistic approach to foods and medicine. *Must be an ADA member to access many of the articles and other benefits from this website.
*Many other DPGs are available through the ADA website and include those highlighting DTRs, vegetarianism, or specific career paths.

A website of the United States Department of Agriculture that provides information of Dietary Guidelines for Americans, MyPyramid, and Dietary Reference Intakes.

The General Mills Bell Institute of Health and Nutrition

This website contains nutrition information and downloadable brochures for use in nutrition education.

The Tufts University Nutrition Navigator

A review guide to nutrition websites by Tufts University nutritionists, this website provides links to many different websites regarding nutrition and health and rates them according to ease of navigation and credibility.
