Attending college can literally change your life, in ways you may not even be able to imagine right now-- and how you start your college experience will definitely impact your short and long term success. iStartSmart is a suite of interconnected programs proven to provide the best possible college start. It includes: 

• Placement tests in English, Math, and Reading 

• Orientation (online and on-campus) 

• Student Success Course 

To get the most out of your experience at Paradise Valley, we encourage you to become involved in all aspects of your college life. We can tell you from our personal experiences that satisfaction with your college experience will increase in direct relation to your involvement, inside the classroom and in out-of-class experiences. We challenge you to explore new interests and activities while you’re at PVCC, and to learn from our rich cultural community.
