The tour is designed so that you may tour the campus on your own and take as long as you need at any location. Enjoy your visit! a touristOur tour begins in Gina Kranitz Student Center next to the Disability Resource Center Office. Gina Kranitz Student Center is where you will find many of PVCC’s Student Service departments.

Disability Resource Center (DRC)-- Room KSC119(602) 787-7170
The Disability Resource Center provides information and services to students with any documented disability who are attending classes at PVCC. Appropriate documentation must be presented to the Disability Resource Center verifying the existence of a disability as defined under Section 504 of the Federal Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990; and establishing a clear connection between the accommodations being requested and the effects of the disability.

The DRC strives to empower students, foster independence and promote achievement of realistic career and educational goals.

Financial Aid--Room KSC101 (602) 787-7100
This is the place to go for assistance in filling out the FASFA (Free Application for Student Financial Aid) form or to inquire about scholarships, grants and loans. Do your treasure hunting at the Financial Aid Office.

Cashiers or Fiscal Office –Room KSC106 (602) 787-7350
The Cashiers office serves as the processor of all financial paperwork for the campus. This is where you pay your tuition or buy stamps. They may also print a schedule for you if you misplace yours. (This is especially helpful during your first week of classes!)

Admissions and Records--Room KSC111(602) 787-7020

You can submit the Student Information Form and/or Enrollment/Schedule to register for classes. You may also add or drop classes, request transcripts, pick up graduation petitions and domicile affidavits to apply for in state tuition. Veteran’s Services are found in this department.

The Counseling department provides Personal and Career Counseling. Career counselors help undecided students with life and career goals. PVCC counselors may also assist students with confidential personal problems.

Academic Advising --Room KSC186(602) 787-7060
Academic Advisors can assist you in making educational plans consistent with your goals, abilities, and interests. They also provide clarification of college procedures and transfer requirements for the college of your chosen major.

College Safety --Room KSC126(602) 787-7900
This office provides security and safety measures pertaining to all persons and property on campus. Obtain your student ID and your parking permit from College Safety. College Safety is also available to escort you to classes or parking lots in the evening. All medical emergencies, accidents, or criminal activities must be reported immediately to the college safety office.

Campus Book Store--Room KSC143(602) 787-7120
The campus bookstore sells NEW and USED textbooks, school supplies, college clothing, software, greeting cards, gifts, etc. You may return textbooks with a receipt within seven days from the first day of class. At the end of the semester, the bookstore may buy back books that will be used the following semester.

The Student Life Center on campus strives to make connections between life and learning. Take advantage of the many opportunities and programs they offer. You may join some of the 21 different clubs and organizations at PVCC. Student Government (SLC- Student Leadership Council) and the Honor’s program are also housed here.

This department offers a wide variety of non-credit courses, workshops, and seminars of general community interest including a number of on-line courses. Opportunities are offered for those seeking intellectual growth, cultural enrichment, and development of other special interests.

Assessment/Testing Center--Room KSC226(602) 787-7050
The Testing center provides placement testing, ESL (CELSA) testing, and Instructional testing. The placement tests allow advisors to more accurately place you into English, Math, and Reading courses. All students taking English, Math, or Reading must take the placement tests before registering for those classes.

Child Development Center (CDC) (602) 787-7150
The CDC is a service available for the children of the PVCC students. The programs main focus is language development, fine motor and social skills for children between the ages of 3-8 years. You can register your children at the CDC and feel at ease while you attend class. The CDC is also DES contracted.

M Building (602)787-6528
M Building is a general multipurpose building, which houses classrooms, Faculty Offices, the Human Development Division, the Music Department, the Communication/Humanities Division, the NAU Offices, the Studio Theater and the Art studio classrooms.

E Building-- Learning Resources Complex
*Start at Northwest entrance

Distance Learning Center – Room E-125(602) 787-6754 or (602) 787-6750
Provides courses in five different distance learning formats: Flex Express, Guided Independent Learning (GIL), Instructional Television, Open Entry / Open Exit (OE/OE). All courses meet the same academic standards and provide the same transfer options as those taught in the traditional classroom.

Computer Commons-Room E-137(602) 787-6760
The Computer Commons provides access and support for students, staff, and faculty learning computer software and hardware and for those using computers to support their PVCC academic or PVCC school-related activities.

Library/Media Services E-102 (602) 787-7200
The library offers a collection of 3000+ volumes of both print and non-print materials. In order to check out materials and access remote databases, a student needs to obtain a student ID card through the college safety office, and have the card activated by the library every semester. The Instructional TV room and the media services center are also located inside the library.

The LSC supports learning and helps learners achieve their full potential by providing free tutoring in every subject and also provides study skill resources and seminars. A learning lab, language lab, and a writing center is there for student use.

The fitness Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed for convenient workouts, physical education activities, and health related classes. It also houses the Athletic program.

L Building—Tennis and Racquetball Courts as well as the Soccer/track and Baseball fields
