Getting on the path to leadership is as easy as 1,2,3! The PEAK Leadership Institute houses over 20 leadership opportunities designed to help you become a better leader. The programs are organized in to categories or tiers, each building on the last. All PEAK participants are paired with a personal mentor to assist them in navigating all the tremendous leadership programs offered at Paradise Valley Community College. PEAK Graduates receive a certificate of completion and a letter of completion from the College President (or designee) for their professional portfolio.

TIER 1: What is Leadership

The foundation of leadership is self-awareness. In tier one programs you will find out who you are, develop collaborative relationships with others and discover ways that you can make a difference in the world.

TIER 2: How to Lead

It’s hard to lead if you don’t have the “know how”. In tier two programs you get a chance to learn the skills that give leaders that extra edge. Event planning, marketing, public speaking and writing are just some of the things you will learn in this tier.

TIER 3: Being a Leader

You know what leadership is, you’ve got the skills and you know how you want to make a positive social change. Now what? In tier three programs it’s time for you to put it all together and take on a leadership role as a facilitator, intern or program director.
