Thursday April 22nd 2004
Sarah Leech called the meeting to order at 1:30 pm.

A quorum was established.
  • President: Sarah Leech

General:
  • The plans for the telethon to recruit possible members are still under way.

  • With the semester coming to an end, we are wrapping up this years activities as most of us are busy with finals coming up. Our main focus is Project Graduation, which collects donations for the underprivileged and those in need. We are hoping to collect as many donations as we can at graduation, which is on May 15th. If you are not attending graduation but would like to donate, please contact Steve Nicoloff or our President, Sarah Leech ( sleech2@cox.net)

  • Results of the blood drive were good. Despite our shortened allotment of time and the blood bus being late, we had a lot of volunteers. We will be in contact with Red Cross for next years.

Thursday April 8th 2004
A quorum was established.

General:
  • We all met in room B208 due to another happening in the regular area outside of room B204 but our next meeting, April 15th, will be held in the normal spot at the normal time, 1:15pm.
  • This coming Wednesday, April 14th, is the WELLNESS FAIR. We are holding a blood drive outside and need volunteers to man the booths for 1 hour increments, anywhere in-between 9am and 2 pm. If you can spare one hour of your time, please contact Steve Nicoloff by e-mailing him at stephen.nicoloff@pvmail.maricopa.edu or calling his office here on campus at 602-787-6676.

  • Next week we will be discussing all of the information gathered while at the international convention, such as ideas and events. We will also be determining a day in May when we can all come together and plan out what we will be doing next year. If you do not regularly attend PTK meetings but would like to be involved next year, it is strongly you advised that you attend next weeks as we will be laying out a lot of information.

Thursday, March 25th
Sarah Leech called the meeting to order at 1:20 a.m.

General:
  • The informal induction ceremony was held. Sarah Leech led the inductees in the process of becoming members.
  • Those of us going to Minneapolis on Thursday, April 1st, were given paperwork to fill out before we leave.
  • There will be no meeting on the first due to the International Convention but meetings will resume as normal the following Thursday at 1:15 outside of B204.

Thursday, March 4th
The meeting began at approx. 1:20 pm

Next Thursday (the 11th) is our new member orientation at 1:15 pm in room B204. We will be meeting outside first.

The Induction Ceremony will be held two weeks later ( March 25th-after spring break) in room B212. This will be an informal ceremony.

REMINDER to former officers: Steve needs a copy of each of the Hallmark essays you previously submitted. Please give him a copy if you have not already done so.

The International Convention is coming up April 1st-3rd! -It is being held in Minneapolis, Minnesota and there are 8 of us going! -We are planning to get fights early on Thursday the 1st and returning late on Saturday. -Specific details are yet to come.

T-shirts are coming! -They are short sleeved polo shirts with gold embroidery on the breast and arm. -They will be sold for $20 -They should be coming in either Tuesday or Thursday

The blood drive will be held during wellness week on April 14th, which is a Wednesday. Steve is gathering more information on that that will be discussed at a later date.

There will be no meeting on March 18th, which falls on the Thursday during Spring Break. Have Fun!!
