PVCC will host its annual Wellness Fest, kicking off on April 3 and running through April 28.

The Wellness Fest, put on by Student Life and the Wellness Committee, will host different lectures, vendors and dance lessons throughout the month. There will also be special events such as The Relay for Life and The Wellness Fair.

The Relay for Life is an overnight marathon benefiting cancer patients and survivors. Participants can expect lots of food, live entertainment and an upbeat atmosphere.

According to Colleen Scyphers, Wellness Intern for Student Life, The Wellness Fair on Wednesday, April 12, is the big event of the month. The Fair is a free event held on the main walkway just south of the KSC building. There will be a rock climbing wall, live entertainment and over 30 vendors offering information on different aspects of wellness.

“We want to convey to students the whole picture of wellness,” says Scyphers.

There are seven different aspects of wellness: social, environmental, occupational, intellectual, physical, emotional and spiritual wellness.
