Saldana grew up in Fresno, California and earned her undergraduate and master's degrees in psychology from California State University in Fresno. She went on to earn a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of California Davis in Fresno. In her position as Dean of Administration, she has a wide range of responsibilities including overseeing human resources, facilities, college safety, financial aid and college admissions and records. She also will help coordinate the college's ongoing master planning initiative that evaluates PVCC's current and future space requirements and determines the recommendations made to MCCD to fund future expansion. Saldana is focused on getting to know the division chairs and program-level faculty to develop a strong working relationship with them. "My skills are collaborative and I want to bring all my skills into a collaborative and focused effort to help guide PVCC into the future as our campus grows." |
