Puma pitcher, Kim Galindo, works the mound for the PVCC Women's Softball Team.

PVCC has been hitting the ball extremely well, winning six of those 14 games by 10 runs or more. Lindsay Vollmer is hitting .434 with 52 runs batted in. She has 25 extra base hits, including nine home runs. Tori Munhall also provided lots of offense for the Pumas, hitting .378 with 19 home runs and 55 RBIs. Jessica Dinielli, Kim Galindo and Kim Simons also have over 40 hits for the Pumas. “We are all playing very well,” said Munhall.

“We are playing with a lot more intensity and seeing the ball much better and making great contact.”

The Pumas end their season against all region opponents: Chandler-Gilbert, South Mountain and Gateway. Region 1 playoffs begin May 1 with times and opponents to be announced.
