PV Schools and PVCC present the 2nd annual North Valley STEAM Celebration! Join students, faculty, community members, and local businesses as they showcase how they use STEAM on a daily basis. Student presentations, award ceremony, demonstrations and guest speakers!
8 am – 12 pm
North Valley Science and Engineering Fair. Overall winner will receive a $450 PVCC scholarship!
Project registration entries accepted from December 1, 2015 – February 1, 2016.
This competition meets the requirements for AZSEF.

Ongoing public events & activities
K-12 and college student displays of STEM and STEAM projects
Join us on Thursday, March 10th to participate in STEAMtastic, a celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts and math in our everyday lives through fun, hands-on activities for all ages. The event is FREE and open to the public. The expo and demonstrations will run from 4:00-7:00PM, followed by stargazing, with the Phoenix Astronomical Society, from 7:00-10:00PM.
The event will be located in PVCC at Black Mountain's brand new science building, Aquillahall, and activities will include a potato launcher, subzero science, an evening star party, molecular gastronomy, the science of brewing (21+), glow in the dark activities, and much more!

The purpose of this Advisory Committee is to make recommendations to:
- unify and streamline STEAM
- increase the number of students who pursue pathways to receive a degree or certificate in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics
- provide academic & career training
- offer opportunities for internships via interdisciplinary approaches
