Tina Settle

Among Tina Settle’s great loves are physics, engineering – and soccer. The daughter of a soccer coach, she became enthralled with the game at the tender age of five. “I immediately liked the competition,” she says. “I especially love that soccer requires so much from you, both physically and mentally. It forces you to excel.” Since Tina currently carries a 4.0 GPA, her time spent on PVCC’s Women’s Soccer Team appears to serve her well. When she’s not studying or playing soccer, she sings in her church choir -- and watches her two brothers play on their soccer teams.
