Who we are:
Student Wellness At PVCC (SWAP) provides peer-to-peer education as an essential element of campus wellness. Being a healthy college student means making healthy choices in order to live each day to its fullest.
The SWAP program focuses on the development and promotion of positive lifestyles and decision-making skills through education and activities designed to increase awareness of health and safety issues prominent among college students.
To be well is to make informed decisions and practice skills to enhance your quality of life and well-being.

These peer educators are a local chapter of the BACCHUS, an international association of college and university based peer education programs.
SWAP Members come from all fields and majors: education, dietetic technicians, massage therapists, and concerned students. For their efforts, SWAP members receive invaluable training as well as a small stipend for their work.
