The community
spirit of PVCC is reflected in the Library's "Be a Book Angel"
program. The program, which began in 1996, was established to
enhance the library's book acquisitions budget.
During the
month of April, PVC employees, students, and friends of the
college can visit the library and donate the price of a book.
Books can be donated in memory of a loved one, in honor of a
special person or group, or just out of the angelic goodness
of the donor's heart. Book plates are inserted in the donated
books to give credit to the donors.
With the
generosity of the campus community for the past five years,
the library is now 443 books richer. Gifts have exceeded $10,400.
