Issues/Items Discussed:

1) New SIS Faculty Portal Demonstration:

Chrystle spent the majority of the meeting giving us a demo of the new SIS Faculty Portal.

Still no known extrapolated date of when the new SIS will be implemented.

2) PodCast:

Jennifer spent the last few minutes of the meeting giving us a demo of PVCC's PodCast. Concerns deal with bandwidth, etc. Jennifer will send us links to look at re: rss specifics, Audacity (free - can record audio file; can export to MP3).

3) Jim Patterson:

Due to time commitment conflicts, Jim has decided to step down from being an Ocotillo co-chair and being on TCT.

For all of us on TCT, Jim, you will be missed. We have found you to be a wonderful wealth of information. We hope you can join us again after you finish your Faculty Senate President term next academic year. You'll be kept on the TCT e-mail distribution list.

4) Ocotillo May 2006 Retreat:

Linda Lawson has agreed to be the main Ocotillo contact for the May 2006 retreat. Thanks Linda! She will provide us with updates.

5) Next Two Meetings (October 19th and November 2nd):

Jennifer will be demo'ing Macromedia Breeze on October 19th and Elluminate on November 2nd.

Please note that the next two meetings will be held in E-144.
