Kevin, the Breeze Rep. (My apologies - I lost the notes I took for today's meeting, so I don't recall Kevin's last name. So, these notes are based on memory, which means these meeting minutes will be short.)

Issues/Items Discussed:

1) Macromedia Breeze Demo:

The meeting was devoted to Kevin's demo of Breeze. Thank you, Linda Lawson, for facilitating the meeting and to Jen in FL. You can view the demo at
http://ccvsoftware.mmalliance.breezecentral.com/ccvsoftware
It will be available for a while so that we can play around with it to get an idea of the learning curve.

Kevin will also send more links to Linda who will forward them to us for further perusal.

Our next meeting will be devoted to a demo of Elluminate. Jen will be facilitating the meeting.

We'll look at pros and cons of Breeze and Elluminate and determine which of the two is preferable.

2) Full PowerPoint Program on Library Computers - Student/Support Issues:

Cathy gave us a synopsis of the library's request to install the full PowerPoint program on the library's public access computers for this coming Spring semester.

Cathy stated that this is a very big change that will have a variety of impacts on students and support. We will continue with this discussion at our November 16th meeting. In the meantime, Cathy will forward to us the e-mails that have been sent back and forth regarding this issue.

3) Next Meeting:

Our next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 2, 2005, 12:45P-1:45P in E-144.
