Teacher Development Center

In response to teacher shortages and training needs, Paradise Valley Community College has created the Teacher Development Center. Partnerships with local school districts and Arizona State University College of Teacher Education and Leadership at the West campus have been instrumental in creating seamless transfers to the university for students participating in The Teacher Connection.

The faculty and staff of the Teacher Development Center are eager to facilitate your success as you proceed through the introductory courses in elementary education and early childhood education. Our professors have extensive experience teaching and administering public and private programs and are dedicated to helping students acquire the skills, strategies and techniques that will result in successful work with diverse learners.
