Canvas runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, & Android, or any other device with a modern web browser. Canvas supports the last two versions of every browser release. It is highly recommended updating to the newest version of whatever browser, you are using, (Firefox and Chrome work the best), as well as the most up-to-date Flash plug-in. Internet Explorer is not recommended.
Some browsers may produce a banner stating "Your browser does not meet the minimum requirements for Canvas”. If you have upgraded your browser but you are still seeing the warning banner, try logging out of Canvas and deleting your computer’s cache. Click here for help with clearing your cache as well as additional technical information.
Note: If you get this message and do not want to upgrade your browser at this time, you may still continue to use Canvas and close the banner, but there may be some slight anomalies.

Canvas Release Notes
"Change is good” is the motto for this new learning management system. Enhancements or changes to the system can take place every 3 weeks, without the system being down. This allows Canvas to improve regularly and not wait for upgrades to add new features. Usually, these changes would be minor, but it's important to be aware of this. The changes may be back-end updates, unnoticeable by the user, or visible changes such as button or option modifications. Release notes are posted to the Canvas website three-four weeks in advance.
While Canvas provides dynamic learning spaces and tools, learning how Canvas works is essential. Use the "Help" feature within Canvas as well as Canvas Guides to problem solve. Guides on this site can also be downloaded.
