Visual Arts Scholarships

Art Scholarships

Each semester a handful of merit–based scholarships in the visual arts are awarded to students in the form of tuition waivers or partial refunds of tuition. The amount of the waiver is contingent upon the total number of credit hours of enrollment for the term. The greater the credits, the more the funds awarded.

In addition, the Fine and Performing Arts division awards several merit–based prizes each spring: “The Fine and Performing Arts Scholarship” and “The Gene Rister Award for the Most Outstanding Student”. Students may not apply for these awards unless invited by faculty nomination. All scholarship recipients are honored in two spring ceremonies in the Center for the Performing Arts.
