The EDGE Program is a professional development learning community for new PVCC (first three years of teaching experience) Adjunct Faculty members.

This hybrid program utilizes the Getting Results Online Course with a variety of supplemental materials made available through the Blackboard Learning Management System.

Four in-person sessions expand upon online content, introduce additional topics and facilitate analysis and skills development on a group and individual basis while applying a variety of student engagement techniques.

Through Learning Contracts, participants plan the application of what they learn to problems they seek to solve in the classroom.

The program culminates in a presentation of their problem, research, plan and even intermediate results utilizing the "6 Step Guide to Effective Presentations."
