What
can this program do for you?
|
What
is democracy? As far as language goes, "democracy"
is a relatively new term and is based on
the Greek word "demokratia." In Greek, "demos"
means "people" and "kratos" means "rule or
power". However, people often use the
word democracy to mean many different things.
In
this module, you will explore various concepts of “democracy” and
investigate whether your service can foster democracy across
the world.

and participatory cultures.”
