Grade Policy:
The grade for this class (laboratory) will be based on the following criteria:
1. Exams: There will be two exams (open-book) as shown on the schedule. There are no make-up tests. If a student misses a test, the grade will be zero. Exams will be short answer. Each test is worth 50 points each. Total points: 100.
2. Quizzes: There will be five quizzes (open-book). Each quiz is worth 10 points. No quiz will be dropped! Total points: 50.
3. Labs: Each lab assignment is worth 10 points. No lab will be dropped. Total points: 120.
270 points are possible for the class work.
Attendance Requirements:
You are required to attend each class. All points described under "Grade Policy" have to be completed. No forms of extra credit are included in this class.
Cell Phones and Beepers:
ABSOLUTELY NO phones and beepers allowed in class! If your device goes off during lecture/lab, you will lose 10 points each time.
