  the 20th century. From avant-garde to bebop, from
  children’s songs to straight-ahead, from hard-hitting fusion
  to heady forays into classical, Chick has touched an
  astonishing number of musical bases in his  illustrious
  career while maintaining a standard of excellence.

  PHOENIX EXPERIMENTAL ARTS FESTIVAL

  The Phoenix Experimental Arts Festival will feature
  performances by seven cutting
edge arts organizations.
  Participating in this year’s festival are
music ensembles
  Crossing 32nd Street and Static
Announcements, dance
  companies CONDER/dance, Armadillo Dance Project,
  and
Mary Fitzgerald Dance, and multi‐disciplinary
  interactive works by Moon/
Nottingham and ASU‐AME
  Ensemble. In addition, the festival will include a visual art
  exhibit
by several local Phoenix visual artists.
