The music department at PVCC awards performance based scholarships to music majors who enroll in private music instruction and who perform in any college performance ensemble.

Students must be enrolled in a minimum of 8 credit hours each semester to qualify as a music major.

Scholarship auditions are generally held in December and May.
Additional audition times my be available throughout the school year on an appointment only basis.

Application materials for music scholarships can be found on PVCC Financial Aid Website.

Audition Requirements:
Two Major Scales
Two Musical Selections 
(demonstrating contrasting styles or different languages)
Sight Reading
