EDU102 - Tutor Training

Level III Tutor Training -

Level III training is designed to promote two or more of the following skills in tutors: leadership, mentoring, networking, teambuilding, and service learning.

One or more projects which address the desired skills above and give a "value added" to existing LSC services or resources.

Level III Projects will need to total 20-40 hours of work. Tutors can recieve up to half of approved hours for pay. The nonpaid poprtion is volunteered work towards "giving something back." Tutors can choose to volunteer their total project time.

Tutors in Level III training can be a mentor to a new tutor as part of their "project" time.

Cummulative experience minimum of 300 hours as a tutor or related work with students.
