Readability
Formulae. To assess the readability of writing, one can use
a number of formulae that will indicate the relative ease or
difficulty of the material. Three formulae are considered
useful for faculty to determine the readability of books and
articles: Fry's Graph, Dale-Chall Formula, and the Gunning Fox
Index. You can choose to explore these formulae below.
