Learning Assistance Involvement in Second Life (Coming Soon)

T.I.D.E., the summer training institute for learning assistance professionals
, is the official owner of a Second Life venture to explore developing an Academic Support Complex.in SL. David Caverly (Texas State University) is the acting director of the project with Frank Christ (Emeritus, CSU Long Beach) as its information resource.

The tentative mission for T.I.D.E. is to determine if it is feasible and useful to develop a SL Academic Support Complex in Second Life and offer learning assistance to its residents. A secondary mission is to raise the value of learning assistance to real life colleagues and to many of SL's residents.
