I am the Site Coordinator for Paradise Valley Community College at Black Mountain. The new site is scheduled to open August 10th, 2009. We are located in the North Scottsdale / Cave Creek / Carefree area.

Previously I was the Manager of Information Technology at Paradise Valley Community College. My primary area was the Helpdesk but I have managed Desktop, Repair and the Satellite labs. I have worked in the IT area at PV for almost 20 years. I am primarily a Mac user, but can use either platform proficiently. I am a software solutions person, since hardware is not my forte, but I can take a part a machine and still get it running afterwards (wink). I am well versed in Word, Excel, Browers and Mail clients, but can use most any program and get it up and running.

Over the years I have worked on numerous projects supporting the Faculty, Staff, and Students here at PV. Some of those projects include implementing a laptop mobile lab, increasing satellite labs on campus, and starting up a nursing lab with simulation manequins.

I have an Associate of Science degree in Electro-Mechanical Drafting and Design from Gateway Community Collge, a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources - Training and Development from Ottawa University, a Master in Education in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University and have also completed Doctorate level work at Walden University in Information Systems Management.
