SIGNIFICANCE TO FIELD

eLearning (as CBC calls it) is growing by leaps and bounds throughout the world. Because research shows that students who are interactive and connected are more successful, we designed a Hybrid course for our College Success offerings. Although the jury is still out (this is a new course), we believe that the Hybrid format is a winning combination for this kind of course.

RELEVANCE TO CRLA MEMBERS

More and more instructors, as well as student services providers, are developing online courses and services. The trick is to not become overwhelmed by the technology, to keep it simple, and to know how to get help when you need it. Some faculty members have said that online teaching has rejuvenated their teaching careers.

PRESENTERS' EXPERIENCE/EXPERTISE
