Dreamweaver CS4 Basics

I have not learnered all the quirks of the new dreamweaver yet so this should be a learning experience for everyone!

Setup: You will notice similarities to Core FTP!

Step 1:

Select Site,

New Site
 

Step 2:

We setup a site! Give the site a name and a URL for your space:

No Server Technology

(That is for CIS233)

 

 Step 4

 

Step 4:

Tell Dreamweaver where you are storing your files

(D drive at School)

Step 5:

Tell Dreamweaver the address of our server and your User Name

Make sure to Test the Connection and then

Uncheck the Save (for the password)

Select No for

Check in & Check out

Double Check the Settings
