Domain Names help establish your Website's identity. You will need to find a name that is available and represents your company. Sites like GoDaddy and Network Solutions can be used to find a domain name(s) for your site.
Terms you need to Lookup:
Try Googling these terms if you don't know them or can't find them in the book: URL, Domain Name, IP address, IPv6, Bit, Byte, Mega, Giga, Unix, Windows Servers, pathping, Ping, Tracert and ipconfig /all, WIFI, and Eithernet
Review the following:
Go to several Domain Name registration sites and check their fees.

Identify the business you will put online!
Search for a domain name for your company and post the domain name you found on Blackboard. Please note, you don't have to buy the domain name unless you want to keep the name. Post how much you paid (or would have paid) for the name, services the registrar offers and how long the name is good for.
Reminder: Post at least one article that deals with the Internet, ecommerce, web design or general business Every Week on Blackboard under the Weekly Articles on the Discussion Board Section.
