Directions for setting up your Site in Dreamweaver.

Open up Dreamweaver

Select Site (step 1) on the Menu Bar and then New Site (step 2)

In the new dialog box that pops up click on New (step 3)

A new Window pops open

Enter a Site Name (step 4)
the site name can be anything but I recommend homework or e-commerce

Enter a Local Site Folder (step 5)

In class you must use the folder we setup in class on the E drive and at home probably C or maybe D

Select Servers (step 6)

and then click on the plus (+) sign (step 7)

A new Window pops up and you need to fill out several areas.

Fill in the FTP Address (step 8) exactly as shown in the picture or copy the address bellow

e-commerce.pvc.maricopa.edu

Put your MEID for a Username
(step 9) and your blackboard password for Password (step 10) and then click Test (check to see if the pop up box says successful.

If successful, un-check the Save check box (step 11). You will notice the password will disappear.

Make sure the Web URL matches your webspace address on my server (step 12). (if you are only taking one class, it will not!) Make changes as necessary
