How will cohort be identified
and tracked?
Selection process to decide who enrolls into COL101:

to another institution).
- have completed all three assessments.
- have completed the orientation session (which includes
academic planning, groupo orientation, academic advising,
and course registration).
- 4. meet the first-time or part-time criteria listed
above.
Desired outcomes: Improved persistence
and performance.
- Cohort students will, as a result of adopting effective
strategies, demonstrate improved persistence. Persistence
will be defined as the number who re-enroll the following
semester when compared to a like group from previous
Spring.
- Cohort students in developmental classes will, as
a result of adopting effective strategies, demonstrate
improved performance. Performance is defined as an increased
number who complete classes with a grade of "C'
or higher when compared to a like group from previous
Spring.
