CITATION INFORMATION
ON THE WEB

It is important to acknowledge the work (intellectual property) of others that you use in your research.  Style manuals are used to document (in a particular format) the various types of resources you may have incorporated into your work:  books, periodicals, government documents, internet sites, interviews, videos, images, etc.  Usually your instructor will indicate which style manual you should use.  Below are several websites with examples of how to cite your sources in various styles.
